Activities

DAY WALKS

These walks generally take place on a Sunday and require a medium level of fitness.
Car pooling is encouraged with a trip fee paid to the driver.

MID WEEK WALKS

These are shorter day walks closer to home to limit travel times.

OVERNIGHT WALKS

These range from weekend walks to extended trips of 10 days or longer and take place in Victoria with the extended walks often being interstate or overseas.  A good fitness level is required with walk participation being at the discretion of the walk leader.  Car pooling is encouraged.

CYCLING

Bicycle rides are programmed monthly and are usually on one of the many bicycle tracks in or close to Melbourne.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

Social activities are organised on a regular basis and consist of activities such as restaurant nights, theatre nights and barbeques. Base Camps are also programmed to cater for members who do not have the fitness or the desire to carry a pack for a weekend, but enjoy camping and walking in places that are further from Melbourne than our usual walks.
